We hear that on the 11th of September last, about 12 o'Clock at Night, a number of People assembled at a place called Squam, at Cape Ann, and forcibly confined the Officers of his Majesty's Customs who had the Possession of certain Goods seized by the Surveyor and Searcher of the Port, and during their Confinement carried off the Goods under Seizure: for which Offence the Commissioners of the Customs have published an Advertisement offering a Reward of 50 l. for the discovery of any two of the Persons concerned therein.
