Full Text
Our editorial friend and brother, Presley W. Morris, was disappointed in his aspiration for the Bench. We shall not, for awhile, have the pleasure of addressing him as Judge Morris. The fact is he was too purely political for the ermine. We congratulate the readers of his Ritchie Gazette upon his retirement to the shades of editorial life. The Gazette hasn't been itself for some time. Now that its vivacious and versatile pen-driver is back to his post we will be encouraged to open the Gazette occasionally with an expectation of finding something bright, if wicked and Republican, in it.
