AUTO CARAVAN PASSES THROUGH

Seven Dodge Cars Are Being Driven From Detroit to Alva, Okla.

Columbians saw a modern caravan this afternoon brought about by war conditions, when seven Dodge cars passed through Columbia, which are being driven from Detroit to Alva, Okla.

The motorists left Detroit last Friday and expect to arrive in Alva next Friday. They report that owing to the freight congestion, this is the only manner in which automobiles may be obtained without any considerable delay. The roads through Missouri are in excellent condition, according to the visitors.
