CORNER STONE LAID FOR
PAROCHIAL SCHOOL

The Rt. Rev. E. A. Kelly, LL.D.,
pastor of St. Anne's church officiated
last Sunday afternoon at the laying of
the corner stone of a new $100,000
parochial school building to be erected
at Downers Grove by St. Joseph's
parish. The sermon was preached
by the Very Rev. William H. Agnew,
S.J., President of Loyola university.
The building represents a new type
of school and parochial building
which Cardinal Mundelein is introducing
in the archdiocese. It includes a
parish office, auditorium and stage, a
large play room, and a kitchen.
