$100,000 Fund Grant

NEW YORK.—A $100,000 grant from the General Education Board has been received by the United Negro College Fund, according to W. J. Trent, Jr., executive director.

The appropriation goes toward the Fund's annual campaigns for current operating funds for its member colleges, being payable at the rate of $25,000 a year during the period ending Dec. 31, 1956.

In 1943 a grant from the General Education Board helped to establish the United Negro College Fund, and to date the Board has contributed a total of $325,000.
