Shoots His Relative in Operations Since
Casper. Wyo.. Aug 7.--The first fatality of the sage chicken hunting season was reported here Monday. when the body of John F. Ryan, 29. of 1139 West Fourteenth street, this city. was returned from Waltman. 60 miles west. where he died Sunday from a wound received by the accidental discharge of a shotgun in the hands of Leo Flynn of Waltman. a brother-in-law. at whose home he was visiting. Ryan lived two hours with a hole torn in his side. A coroner's jury pronounced the shooting accidental. absolving Flynn.

Ryan was a boilermaker's helper. employed at the local refinery and was an ex-service man. He leaves widow and one child.
