Full Text

According to some Advices from Petersbourg, the Prince of Hesse-Hombourg complains bitterly of the Behaviour of Count Munich towards him during the late Campaign. This last having done nothing yet which could favour the Arms of his Imperial Majesty, 'tis reported that this Conduct has occasioned a great Coldness between him and the Imperial Colonel de Berenclau, who has sent him with great Dissatisfaction that all his Instances to procure a Diversion were in vain. And according to other Letters wrote from Petersbourg to Berlin, the Court of Russia makes great Complaints, and are highly dissatisfied with the Imperial Operations against the Turks. These reciprocal Reproaches 'tis feared will cause some Misunderstanding between the two Courts. Notwithstanding all which, the Czarina has refused to accept of very advantageous Conditions offered her by the Ottoman Porte, in case she would disengage herself from the Emperor, and make a separate Peace; and further declared, that she will never consent to any Accommodation exclusive of the Emperor.
