Exposure of The Knights of the Golden Cross
-New Orleans, April 3 -
The subordinate officers of the Knights of the Golden Cross, have published a card denouncing General Bickley, the commander-in-chief of the order, as an impostor.
About 1,500 men have been enrolled here under the representation that there was plenty of money to fit out an expedition to assist President Juarez in Mexico, where promises of land grants etc., had induced many to join but there was no evidence yet of any bona fide movements.
