Full Text

The Kensington - Wheaton Jaycees thank all those people who gave so generously to our Christmas Orphans Fund. The response to our program was overwhelming. It is certainly nice to know that charity is still active in the hearts of people for those less fortunate than them. Special thanks to the merchants who allowed us to set up bell ringing stations at their stores.

The Christmas Shopping Tour was a large success due to your generosity. This program is designed to teach children the meaning of giving as well as receiving. They shop for gifts for others, and I cannot convey the delight and pride that this gives them.

On behalf of all the children that we took shopping we thank you for making their Christmas a little bit nicer.
