BALTIMORE, Sept. 17.

From the North of Europe.- We are indebted to a respectable gentleman for the Hamburg papers and letter intelligence to the 25th July. The king of Prussia was compelled to obey Bonaparte, and has shut his ports against the American flag. Letters give a very distressing account of the people's situation--Dutch funds fallen to one-third price--markets for American produce rising in proportion with the increasing dangers our merchants have opposed to them From Memel to Kiel. there appears on the south shore of the Baltic no resting place for our mariners. Bonaparte has proclaimed to reconquer all that Charlemagne possessed ; which would include Kiel.- Lubec gave up her garrison to reinforce Massena- that proud city of Lubec, which six centuries ago [1164] headed the hanseatic league, and was called "Mistress of the Baltic" —is now but a trap of nefarious Franca-Fed.
