Finding of Woman's Body Ends Search

Winnipeg, Man., Feb. 28.--(A.P.)--A search of 12 days ended late yesterday when the body of Mrs. James Adams, 28-year-old resident of St. Vital, a suburb, was found in a snow filled ditch, near the Red river, late today.

She had been slain, her head had been battered with some blunt instrument and the snow around the body was covered with blood. The body was found less than a mile from the woman's home, but on the opposite side of the river.

A short time after the discovery of the body, Albert Westgate, a Winnipeg chauffeur, was arrested by the Provincial police.
