Mr. Haggen expects to remain until Thursday investigating the property, on which at least one noteworthy development has occurred during the closed period. This was the recent discovery of a cross vein of fine looking ore in a tunnel driven during the winter on another vein. The new vein was encountered about 80 feet from the portal and is said to be in the neighborhood of eight feet wide at the point of intersection.
Several other large ore bodies carrying working values are also known to exist on the group.
According to recent announcements, the company is planning extensive development work this year, the program of which includes the probable construction of a small mill.
