Pizarro's Body.

A wooden coffin has been discovered in the crypt of the parish church of Limares in Spain, bearing the following strange inscription: "Herein lies the pretended corpse of Francisco Pizarro." It is needless to say that the coffin was eagerly opened, notwithstanding the disclaimer. It was found to contain a corpse which had been carefully "mummified," and which was clothed in a garment of velvet cloth. The countenance is said to be remarkably like the portraits of Pizarro, and it has a pointed beard like his. One of his hands was detached and lay near the body, while the other hand reposed upon the breast. Neither jewels nor a sword were found in the coffin. - Pall Mall Gazette.
