IT APPEARS that the Governors of Montana and Washington do not intend to call an extra session of the legislature for the election of a United States Senator. Now there is a good chance for the Tribune to raise another howl and void a few of its pet epithets against those Governors, as it did when it was intimated that perhaps the Governor of Wyoming would not call the legislature together. But he is a Democrat and the other Governors mentioned are Republicans, and that may make a big difference. Their course will doubtless be considered eminently wise, while there is nothing too vile to say of the Governor of Wyoming for taking a similar course. But, by the way, Governor OSBORNE has not yet decided what he will do, but is still trying to find out what the people want. And is not that pretty wise and conservative after all, even if he is a Democrat?
