"Hoss" Talk in Politics.

"As little as you might think of it, the political pot to be dished out in August 1892, was simmering quite audibly last Monday on the Public Square. It is a little early to begin to train, but if you will commence, why the first thing to do is to have your pedigree all clean and straight; for you must be by "Old Democracy" out of "Convention," or you can't hold office in Maury county and, don't you forget that."

The above is from the Columbia Herald. We suggest that it will be a mighty good idea for a number of other counties in the State to stick a little closer to the good old democratic training ring in the next election they did in the last.
