WOMEN IN PRODUCTION.
There are more than a million and a quarter women engaged in producing commodities in the United States most of which commodities must be sold in competition with similar goods produced in foreign countries.
The Democrats want American women to compete on an equality with foreign women.
The Republican Congress repudiated that doctrine when it imposed an import duty high enough to give the American worker a fair margin of protection due to the higher standards of living in this country.
We guess that when American women go to the polls in November, they will vote to approve the Republican policy.
