It will be seen from a notice in another column that the White Sulphur Springs has been sold to a number of gentlemen of ample means, and distinguished for their public spirit and enterprise. A new era in this famous establishment, will now commence, which will make it in all probability, in five years, the most popular watering place in America.
We learn that the new company, from which so much is hoped and expected, has been already organized. A F.D. GIFFORD is President, ALLEN T. Caperton Secretary, and Ro H. Maury Treasurer, with an efficient Directory. Mr. Gifford is one of the most energetic and practical men we know. Aided by such colleagues as he has, we are sure that nothing will be left undone that is in their power to promote the comfort of their guests, and to give the locality beauty and grandeur worthy the world renowned White Sulphur Springs
