Full Text

CONTRACTOR WILL CARE
FOR MORE CHILDREN

As the result of the visit to the Fort Sanders route by members of the school board and Mrs. Early, the contractor for the hauling of the children over the Fort Sanders route, the board has arranged with Mrs. Early to care for the twenty-two children in that portion of the district for the present. The board will either provide a central station where all the children may congregate in the morning and be discharged in the afternoon, or it will decide to erect a school house in that neighborhood.

It is believed that there will be more rather than fewer children in that position of the district as the country becomes more thickly settled, and some members of the board are said to be in favor of the establishment of a school out there.
