MEDUSA FRIGATE.

That the Medusa frigate, of the French Republic, which sailed lately from Newport, after having been there in vain blocked up, during six weeks, by English forces which were far superior, is safe arrived at Brest, after a passage of 26 days, and brought with her two rich English prizes, which are valued at 100,000 dollars. This same frigate brought to America the present Legation of the French Republic. and carried back to France the Citizen Fauchet, late Minister, the late Consul of Philadelphia, and other officers of the French Republic.
