FOR MUSEUM
Three fine specimens of white-tailed deer have been secured for exhibition in the state historical society museum, being killed by Bismarck and Mandan hunters under the supervision of L. F. Crawford, curator, and with permission of the state game board. The deer will be mounted and made a part of the permanent exhibition. A buck, a doe and fawn were secured.
A party consisting of B. E. Jones, J. L. Larson and son of Bismarck, J. H. Newton and L. F. Lyman of Mandan and John Rogers of McKenzie, with Mr. Crawford and Russell Reid, got two deer near Harmon station, on the west side of the river, Thursday. Mr. Jones shot both a doe and a fawn. On Tuesday, Mr. Newton shot a buck. The party, on Thursday, was out but about four hours.
