LONDON, Feb. 21.—The British Lawn Tennis Association has voted to support a motion now before the International Association which would permit amateurs to accept money for making motion pictures.

This move by the English net fathers is interpreted by close observers as a "last ditch" attempt to keep their star performer, Fred Perry, in the Simon pure ranks.

It is known that the world's champion singles player has been playing tit-tat-to with American movie producers, and it is known that he has received several very flattering offers. So, the British Association, along with the stockholders of the Wimbledon Stadium are worried no end over the prospect of their biggest gate attraction "going Hollywood."

Czecho-Slovakia made the original motion to abolish the present ruling against amateurs taking part in motion pictures with a loss of their amateur rating. Fifteen votes are required to call an extraordinary session of the International Association. Together, Czecho-Slovakia and England control nine votes.
