PARALYSIS FUND CAMPAIGN
A total of $4,000, more than double that of last year, was raised in Windham County for the national infantile paralysis foundation, it was announced Saturday by James J. Lee of Willimantic, county chairman.
The 1941 total includes $1,124.34 collected in the theatres of the county. Putnam, where the drive was directed by Rep. Dorothy J. Bartlett, came within a few dollars of equalling Danielson's subscription to the fund, the total of town contributions indicated. Totals donated by the various towns follow: Windham, $1,059.02; Danielson, $659.25; Putnam, $650; Brooklyn, $371.31; Ashford, $184.71. The total amount raised in the county for the drive a year ago was $1,846.44.
