Wesley Holbrook, Tom Hays and Andy Large went to Coal river from Catt Fork to work.
Levi Miles, Bent Friley, Roy Friley, Mr. Hubbard, Mr. Sparks and two Miss Youngs were among those who went to Ashland to attend the big circus.
Mr. Graham from Honest Fork of Catt, was over fixing the switch board into Doc Thompson's house for a new telephone.
