Full Text

There will be high old times at the next session of the district court as it is now understood that there will be an action brought against the board of supervisors for malfeasance, or something of the sort. The board, manned by the chairman, will carry the thing with a high hand until stopped by the court, and when this is done the people of the county will be much relieved. Boards of supervisors, as a usual thing, are composed of the weakest men to be found in the county, but this board is away below the average. Mr. Scanlon, who is at the head of the affair appears to want to be 'it,' and with the aid of the official daub, may be able to fool a few of the most rabid of the faithful into the belief that he is doing his duty.
