Announcement of Winner Will Be Made at Junior Association Dinner Tuesday
Bismarck's first recipient of the distinguished service award of the U. S. Junior Chamber of Commerce will be honored Tuesday, Feb. 23, at a dinner of the Bismarck Junior Chamber of Commerce in the Grand Pacific hotel at 6:30 p. m.
His name kept secret until the award has been made, the man has been selected by a committee of the senior association on the basis of the community service he has rendered in Bismarck during the past year.
The man does not have to be a member of the junior association but must be within the age limits prescribed for membership in the association, according to Obert Kobs, association president.
Making the selection was a committee chairmanned by Dr. G. M. Constants, assisted by N. O. Churchill, E. B. Klein, E. B. Cox and F. A. Knowles.
Activities of the legislative, membership and trade-day committees will be reviewed by the chairmen, Fay Brown, Jack Meckler and Cliff Palmer, respectively.
There will be two entertainment features arranged by Helge Zethren, program chairman. Miss Alice M. Jensen will give a number of humorous Scandinavian dialect readings, and a mind reading stunt will be presented by Paul O. Netland and Dick Barry.
Reservations for the dinner should be made by telephoning Helge Zethren at 1000.
