A spirit of liberty is evidently fast gaining ground in Canada, and there are many there desirous of throwing off allegiance to the British King. A liberal course on the part of the British government may delay a separation for a long time; but the day must and will come when British North America shall take a stand among the nations of the earth.--And the tyranny and folly of such governors as Dalhousie and Aylmer will hasten the great event.--Albany Daily Advertiser.
