Centennial of the Battle of Trenton.

Trenton, N. J., Dec. 27.

The anniversary of the battle of Trenton came off to-day and was attended with a good deal of enthusiasm. There were about 1,000 persons engaged. General Washington, Generals Sullivan, Green and Mercer were all personated: also Colonel Rahl and others of the Hessians or British army. The movement of troops began at 8 o'clock and the fighting through the streets between the contending armies reached its height at about ten o'clock. The surrender took place at Assunpink creek, and was received with cheers.

In the afternoon addresses were delivered to a large audience at Taylor's opera house, by Gen. Campbell, Gen. Rushing, Wm. A. Barton, E. C. Stahl and Judge Marr. The troops were dined at Washington hall, and the day passed off without accidents.
