RUFUS ANDERSON CONVICTED OF MURDER.

The Reese River Reveille of the 9th inst. contains the following report of the result of the trial of the boy Rufus Anderson:

The trial of Rufus B. Anderson for murder, which has engaged the attention of the District Court for nearly a week, was concluded last evening about a quarter of 9 o'clock, when the case was given to the jury. At precisely ten minutes before midnight, after three hours deliberation, the jury agreed upon the verdict. The Court was speedily notified by the Sheriff and convened, and in the presence of the District Attorney, the counsel for the defense, the prisoner, and a few spectators, the following verdict was rendered: The State vs. Rufus B. Anderson. We, the jury in the above entitled cause, find the defendant guilty of murder in the first degree.
