Double Check
We got a hunter for every piece
of game that is in them woods
and be sure you get yours.
Now that we got through the last
holiday this side of Christmas we
can count up our loss and drive
right on in.
The next great event is the open-
ing of the tobacco market for the
sale of dark fired. The flue cured
having had its day, now the flue
has got the people.
Just had news that winter is on
the way
we are doomed to
suffer.
They just had an election up in
Alaska, that's the last state 'twixt
here and Siberia—and the Republi-
cans voted it in. Alaskans voted the
Republicans out. That was a good
deed . . . that's the pay off. Now
the G.O.P. is lower than the ther-
mometer was
and that was
below the below.
Alaska is not really a state yet
but after the votes are counted and
the President quits playing golf
and gets out one of them antique
proclamations, it will be.
Nixon visits Britain . . . the Com-
munists celebrate. The party call-
ed it a demonstration but the ban-
ners said "Go home Nixon". The
British have a strange sense of
humor even if they are communis-
tic. Getting the Russians out of
Berlin is harder than getting them
in and the same goes with US. The
question uppermost in most minds:
Is it worth fighting for?
Thanks for reading, it's
season.
Later than I thought.
Yours.
