Trenton, May 10: Election of the standing committee featured today's session of the 144th convention of the Episcopal diocese of New Jersey at Christ Church cathedral. The contest was a spirited one, four ballots being required.

The committee as elected comprises four clergymen, the Revs. Alfred D. Scuyler, Charles S. Lewis and Dr. Hamilton Baker, D.D., Charles M. Perkins, and four laymen, David G. Baird, Charles Townsend, Warren R. Dix and Charles Mecum.
