In Madison County in 1952, the Cole-Layer-Trumble Co., a professional firm, with the aid of county help, completed an entire re-appraisal of the county. Since that time, a sort of "running inventory" has been kept in the auditor's office with the help of Mr. William Culpepper as deputy appraiser. This board, composed at the present time of Mr. Hanson, Mr. George Taylor and Mr. Harold Bidwell, has approved the above figures.
