412th Tech. Sc. Sq.

Capt. John H. Kott is the new Commanding Officer of the 412th, relieving 2nd Lt. Stephen S. Brown. Capt. Walter Stemple has been transferred off the field. The 412th has moved to block 35, and will become a School Squadron. Corps. Dennis I. Daniels and Gregory A. Savage are enjoying 15-day furloughs. Sgt. Nathan L. Kelly and Corp. Michael Seber are now on detached service. With the return of Pvt. William R. Mullins, Jr., this squadron has no men confined to the station hospital. Congratulations to Pvt. Frank J. Valls on his recent wedding.

Several members of this squadron received promotions recently. S. Sgt. Marcus D. Meadows was promoted to Technical Sergeant; Sgts. Leonard L. Powell and Donald H. Richley were promoted to Staff Sergeants; Corps. Woodrow Webber, Nathan L. Kelly and Marion D. Spurgeon were promoted to Sergeant; and Pfcs. Charles M. Hoffman, William P. Farrell, John L. Winstead and Gregory A. Savage to Corporal.
