London, Nov. 18. Last Week a very uncommon Accident happened at Sir Thomas Stiles's, Bart. at Wateringbury, in Kent; Master Charles Stiles taking a Gun out of the Kitchen, not knowing that it was charg'd, presented it at the Gardener 4 Times, but it did not go off; he afterwards put the Gun on his Shoulder, and went into a Room where Mrs. Bridger, the House-keeper, was drinking Tea, and standing with his Back towards her, the Gun, by some Accident, went off, and shot her in the fleshy Part of the Arm: Sir Thomas immediately sent for a Surgeon, under whose Care she is at present.
