"The Minneapolis NAACP drive for members has slowed up." Wendell C. Jones, membership drive chairman said this week.
Mr. Jones attributes the situation to failure of membership drive team's leaders to follow up the drive for 1950 members consistently.
The membership chairman said, however, that he thinks the drive will gain momentum in the middle of this month.
He urges all of the team captains to make reports regularly.
Standings of team captains will be in next week's paper.
Additional new NAACP members are Rufus Brown, Mrs. Mary Davis, Mrs. Genevieve Jackson, Dorothy Jones, Don LaFaucette, H. C. London, J. H. Maxwell, Mrs. J. H. Maxwell, William Mosley, John Patterson.
