AMSTERDAM, Nov. 29. - Prince Bernhard, husband of the Crown Princess Julianna, of the Netherlands, was thrown from his automobile in a collision with a heavily laden hand truck.
He suffered head injuries, but is believed to be not greatly hurt.
Bernhard was driving a Ford car at high speed. He jammed on his brakes but couldn't avoid skidding, when the truck emerged from a side road.
The Princess, who expects to become a mother shortly, was dissuaded from going to the hospital.
