On Wednesday. the first instant, was installed to the pastoral care of the church of Christ in Concord.in this State,the Rev. ISRAEL Evans, late chaplain of the New-Hampshire Brigade.— The public solemnity was introduced with prayer by the Rev. Mr. BELKNAP—an ingenious, well adapted discourse was delivered by the Rev. Mr.ECKLEY, from 2. Cor. 4. 7—the ordaining prayer was made by the Rev. Mr. WOODMAN—the charge was given by the Rev. Mr. MacCLINTOCK, and the right hand of fellowship by the Rev. Mr. COLBY ; and the concluding prayer was made by the Rev. Mr. SMITH.—Several pieces of musick were performed in a masterly manner ; and the diligent attention and exemplary decorum in the behaviour of a numerous assembly, did no less honour to themselves, than to the solemn occasion.
