Much of the credit for completing the arrangements for the Canadian Ships Here For 3-Day Visit
HMCS Chaudiere and Gatineau, Canadian Naval escort destroyers, are scheduled to arrive here today for a three-day operational visit.
USS Hammerberg, commanded by LCDR R. F. Schniedwind, will serve as host ship for Gatineau. Chaudiere will be hosted by USS John Willis, commanded by LCDR E. M. Cocke.
Host Command
Commander Escort Squadron 10, commanded by CDR F. E. McKenzie, has been designated as host command. LTJG P. C. Painter will be Liaison Officer for Commander Cruiser Destroyer Force, Atlantic Fleet.
