The American Eagle Dead.—The American Eagle, a paper published at Gordonville, Va., in its last issue, clothed in the weeds of mourning announces its own demise and that of the Union.
Hear it:
"The dissolution of the confederation of States, and the death of the American Eagle; causes a feeling of parting sorrow, and makes this paper appear, in this the last hour of its existence, in the solemn garb of mourning. The American Eagle bids a final adieu to its patrons and to the Republic
