Judge Gulbrandson
Holds Court Here

Judge L. C. Gulbrandson was in Sidney on Wednesday, Aug. 22 attending to Court matters.

Civil, criminal and probate matters were presented by V. G. Keh, Otto T. Habedank, Wayne Cumming, Paul H. Cresap and C. N. Cottingham, all of Sidney, Montana.

In criminal action State of Montana versus Joe H. Renville, charged with issuing and passing a worthless check, the defendant was in court and advised the court that he did not have counsel to represent him, that he did not have funds with which to hire counsel. The Court thereupon appointed Wayne Cumming to represent the defendant and continued the arraignment to Wednesday, August 29.

The joint tenancy of Earl and Cordelia Mason was terminated.

A guardian was appointed in the persons and estates of the Pederson Minors.

Civil action, George Scheetz versus Cecil Steele was continued to August 13.

In civil action, U. S. Rubber Co. versus Williams Motor Co., motion to strike the answer filed by the defendant and the pre-trial hearing set for this day was continued to September 13.

In the Lars C. Anderson Estate, the final account was approved, inheritance tax determined to be in the sum of $279.75, and petition for distribution granted.

The administrator of the Estate of Edward Jacob Mindt, Deceased, was discharged and the bond exonerated.

Lauretta Wyman was granted a divorce from Eugene R. Wyman by a court decree.

Judge Gulbrandson approved the final account and order the property distributed to the minors, both of whom have reached their majority, in the guardianship proceeding of Leonard Engen and Jolene Engen.

The annual account of the Eva Hage, an incompetent, Estate was approved by the court.

Court recessed to August 29 at 10:00 a.m.
