Bonelli Hearing Speeded Up

LOS ANGELES, April 9. (UP)— The "speed up" plan by which the William G. Bonelli liquor license graft trial is expected to be finished by June 7, was continuing today.

Now in its 10th week, the "speed up" provides rapid examination of witness and may include longer day sessions or even night sessions later on.

The state called eight bar proprietors as witnesses yesterday to testify that their liquor licenses had been revoked when they refused to pay protection money to a shakedown syndicate allegedly headed by Bonelli, member of the state board of equalization.
