Golconda Smelter.

The Adelaide smelter at Golconda, Humboldt County, is working large quantities of ore under the new process. The work is in charge of the inventor. It will take about three weeks to complete the tests in all the different classes of ore. If it is a success it means the immediate opening of the plant for the reduction of the ores of the Glasgow and Western Exploration Company, which has extensive mining interests in White Pine, Lander and Humboldt Counties. The ores from all these properties will be reduced at Golconda.
