MILES CITY WILL
BE MEETING SITE
(From Montana State College)
The second western meeting of the American Society of Animal Production will be held at Miles City, August 19-23, announces Professor E. L. Potter, head of the livestock department of Oregon State college and western vice-president of the society. The meeting will be held at the United States Range Experiment station.

A particular effort will be made at this meeting to assemble all experimental data available on the subject of chopping and grinding hay. The data collected at Miles City will be supplemented with data supplied from representatives from other range experiment stations in the western states. National authorities on animal nutrition and genetics will review the year's progress in these subjects.

Along with the study of the work being conducted at the Miles City range experiment station two graduate schools will be conducted. The 500 head of cattle at the station will be used in the school for grading and classifying range livestock. This school will be conducted by the men who have been doing the grading for the "quality in meats" investigations. The graduate school in range management will be conducted by O. L. Foraging and assistants from the United States Forest Service.

During the meeting of the society county agents in eastern Montana and other agents interested in the livestock work at Miles City will hold a district conference.
