We hear from Georgia, that the Fortifications around Savannah, already begin to make a good Appearance; near 600 Men having been at work upon them for some Time:

That the Creek Chief, called the Cow Keeper, had lately been at Savannah, with 40 other Creeks, and seemed very well disposed towards the English: but had been concerned in some Disturbances lately given the Spaniards at St. Augustine, by those Indians; and that Governor Ellis was earnestly endeavouring to accommodate the Differences Between them, which, 'twas apprehended, would be a Work of Difficulty.
