HOLDS WEEK-LONG
FOUNDERS' DAY CELEBRATION

The 82nd Founders' Day observance of Arkansas AM and N College opened on the school's Pine Bluff campus Monday, and will extend through Sunday, April 24.

Principal speakers during the week-long celebration will be John H. Johnson, editor and publisher of Ebony, Jet, Hue and Tan magazines, and Mrs. Mayme E. Williams, AM and N graduate and regional director of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Johnson will deliver the Founders' Day address, while Mrs. Williams will speak at a sunrise memorial service. Both will speak on April 24.

Also appearing on the program is Miss Lois Towles, famous concert pianist, who will be presented in recital on Monday night.
