From Genoa, That the Duke of Montemar is charged with a Commission from the Court of Spain, to propose to that Republic to give up the Island of Corsica, (which they cannot keep) to the King of the Two Sicilies.

It's plain, that Spain supports King Theodore to get that Island by Force, if the Genoese will not part with it, on giving them some Equivalent.

That the Republick had issued a Proclamation, granting a general Pardon to all Highwaymen, Murderers, &c. that would enter into their Service against the Corsicans, also promised a Reward for taking King Theodore, dead or alive.
