COMMUNICATIONS.
Buonaparte's expedition to Egypt, and Logan's trip to the Eden of civil liberty, are a pair of events which, it is presumed, will considerably occupy the attention and excite the admiration of future historians. In both of these mad enterprizes about equal sagacity is evinced ; and the termination of each has served to expose to the ridicule of the world, the weakness and folly of the shallow politicians who fabricated them. Buonaparte is, before this, made food for the Egyptian crows; and citizen Logan, though his ugly form be not actually dished up, is fairly roasted with public scorn
If it be true that Logan roves through the country, misleading the ignorant and exasperating the vicious to violence against the government, it may be properly said of him, as of his prototype, " He goeth to and fro, like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
