Former litigants were in reversed positions in superior court here Wednesday in an action filed by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fiddan, living between Eatonville and Kapowsin, against John Surina.
He was charged with false arrest of the Fiddans, who claim injury of $5,000 in mental suffering and $75 additional for legal services required to free them.
Jan. 30 the two were arrested by deputy sheriffs on Surina's charge of third degree assault upon him.
He had been staying at the home of Mrs. Christine Siegmund, mother of Mrs. Fiddan, and charged them with creating a disturbance detrimental to her health as well as assaulting him.
The man and woman were freed from jail on $1,000 peace bond.
Later the action was dismissed, after Mrs. Siegmund died.
