Mr. George Gordon, present for diving experiments, offered service, assembled an English crew, sailed under English colors with passport, and delivered the boat safely to Lisbon. The boat carried numerous avizos and items of great consequence, including advice that Indians have disposed Portuguese of several East-Indies settlements and Spaniards are building fortifications near Nova Colonia to interrupt trade via the River of Plata.
