The first semester enrollment at Atlanta University is 629, an increase of 31 students over the fall semester 1959-60, according to Registrar Paul I. Clifford. The largest percent of increase is in the School of Business Administration with 40 students, twelve more than last year.
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences also shows a substantial growth from 123 in 1959-60 to 141 this semester. There are 737 graduate students exclusive of special students in the Atlanta University Center, the remainder being enrolled in the Interdenominational Theological Center.
The total enrollment in the six institutions in the Center is 3,999, an increase of 290 students.
