Brussels, July 3. The enthusiasm of liberty is at its height; the Burgesses have refused to pay fourrier money, which they were to give, to exempt them from lodging the troops, until the final resolution of the Sovereign is known. Four Commissioners have been named by the States of Brabant, for the purpose of examining with the Imperial Commissaries, into the state of the finances of the religious establishment. These States of Holland have added the Lion of Brabant to the arms of their province, and join in the common cause with the subjects of Brabant. The same thing has taken place with the States of Flanders, who have presented on the 6th of June last, a very full and particular declaration of their way of thinking, and the resolution which they have come to, to neglect no means of recovering their rights and privileges. Their Memorial is written with a great deal of spirit, and contains a list of the sums drawn from that Province, from the month of November 1755, unto the month of October last, 1787, the amount of which is brought to 74,581,484 florins 18--11. On account of this declaration, the Nobility of the Province have presented an address to the States of Flanders, to congratulate them on having triumphed over the dangerous encroachments of aristocratical power.
